THEFUTOBLOG wants to officially congratulate all those who were given admission. Happy New Month to you all. In this article I will like to make something clear and also drop some piece of advice. This article is a bit long so I’ll say relax and take your time to read this very well.
You all know that Futo clearance starts on the 4th of this month (December) if you didn’t know we’ll then you know it now and it is for those who were given admission that is to say those candidates whose names where on the merit list.
Futo merit list is out and also FUTO supplementary application was just concluded last week and we are awaiting the supplementary list.
This is how Futo admission procedure goes. The first admission list to come out is the Merit list followed by the supplementary list, there is nothing like Futo merit 2nd batch admission list. Futo merit list contained candidates with high post utme and jamb score although many with high jamb and post utme score weren’t given admission.
Those who scored high in both jamb and post jamb and whose name was not on the merit list will still be admitted into the same department when the supplementary list comes out, some aspirants not all. Some of you wondered why department like mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, etc where not among the supplementary courses.
Let me give you an example Jide applied for mechanical engineering and he scored 230 in jamb and 275 in post utme, when the merit list was out his name wasn’t there. He applied for agricultural engineering in the supplementary form. When the supplementary list was out, he was given admission to study mechanical engineering. What am trying to pass here is that you should not give up, may be FUTO is just looking for a way to make more money from aspirants, you never can tell. Although if were given admission into a department you don’t like you can still change course in your 200level when you have a high CGPA
Note this, that does not apply to all aspirants who scored high because there are some aspirants that will still score high but will not be given admission in Futo, don’t know what to say about this I’ll advice you to pray.
When the supplementary list comes out this month many will be given admission to the course they applied for while other to a different course entirely and some will not be given.
Now back to Clearance, FUTO clearance is very stressful I must say. Supplementary Candidates should not partake in the clearance until supplementary admission list is released. The Reason Why The Admitted Ones Will Start Their Clearance This Year Is Just To Reduce The Crowd And Make It Easy For The Workers. Tutorial and may be lectures may take place although it won’t be serious.
Once You Are Admitted You Can Join Them With The Clearance.
The Possible Clearance That Will Be Going On This Year Is Just Confirmation Of Your Admision At Senate, Departmental clearance, medical clearance which is the hardest of all, But Payment Of Medicals Willl Commence This Year At Futo Microfinance Bank,the Price Is #3000. Library clearance, X-ray and collection of green file is next year.
Documents You Need To Have Handy For All Your Clearance Include:BirthCertificate ,LGA identification,Attestation Letter(optional),O level Result,Statement Of Result,Futo Admission Letter And Clearance Form 6,Your Remitta Evidence For All Online Payments, jamb admission letter and lots of passport, a Cap will also be needed by you because futo sun na bomb. etc.

Notethis: if you were given admission into any engineering course in Futo and your jamb combination is not correct, that is instead of writing English, maths, chemistry and physics you wrote English, physics, chemistry, biology you will admitted into another department which has the jamb subject combination.
For Now Just Prepare For Your Journey Into Futo.Its A Long Long Journey Full Of Stress, and pain.
I’ll advice if you reside very far I’ll say when coming for your clearance, come along with your luggage because it is not a one day thing.

As long as you pass the supplementary cut off for dental technology, then you have a high chance. It will be released soon

Please when exactly would the supp list be released. Almost all schools i know have released theirs. It’s already Jan 6th and no news on their website.
To succeed in Futo you must have patience. The list will be out this January

Please o,, will they still release DE admission this year,,other schools have released theirs.. Soon like I heard lectures will resume and those our mates in 200l will all start attending lectures while our admission is not even yet out not to talk of starting registrations

I applied for electrical electronics engineering with 214 as my jamb score and 180 as my putme score but unfortunately I was not admitted then i have to apply for the supplementary but i did not see a related course on the list of courses and i was adviced to register any course that it does not matter that they will still give me a related course then i filled microbiology as the supplementary course. pls advice me am afraid,is there any hope for me?
